This page explains how to delete your Hugbie data. Hugbie has no accounts: your data is stored on your own phone, so you delete it yourself. You do not need to sign in to read this page.

How to delete your data
- Open Hugbie and go to Settings.
- In the Starting over group, choose Start over from the shore and confirm Erase and start over. Your friend, goals, discoveries and notes on this phone are erased and the story begins again.
- To remove the app's remaining files as well, delete the app from your phone.
If you want to keep a copy first, export a backup in Settings before erasing.
What gets deleted
- your friend, goals, care history, private notes, sleep and dream notes, harbour and keepsakes, and your settings, all stored on your phone;
- downloaded audio and content that the app stored on your phone, when you delete the app.
We hold no copy of this data, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
What is kept
- Backup files you exported or shared. They are where you saved or sent them. Delete them there.
- Purchase records. Apple, and RevenueCat which processes purchases for us, keep records of your purchases under their own policies. Deleting the app or erasing its data does not remove them.
- Anonymous app statistics. Wiredash keeps anonymous usage counts (platform, app version and country) that carry no name, email or content of yours. Deleting the app removes the random identifier they were counted under, so they can no longer be linked to your phone.
- Feedback and support messages. Messages you sent through Help & feedback (kept by Wiredash) or by email stay until deleted. Write to privacy@blwapps.com to have them removed.
Your subscription is not part of the data on your phone. It lives with the Apple App Store. Deleting the app does not cancel it and does not produce a refund; cancel it in your Apple Account's subscription settings, as described in the Terms of Use.
